Vultures Volume One is finally out, and I know you guys are just DYING to hear my thoughts. Out of 16 tracks on the album, I would say only 2-3 of them are skips for me. Even then, those songs are good on first listen, and I just don't see myself returning them often. I would say Talking (Featuring Kanye's daughter, North), Vultures (The lead single of the project featuring Bump J and Lil Durk), and Beg Forgiveness (Featuring Chris Brown) are tracks I like but wont be returning to for the time being (With the exception of Vultures, my thoughts on that track remain mixed). The rest of the tracks on the album range from good to perfect. Some highlights on the tracklist include: Back to Me (Featuring Freddie Gibbs), Burn, Fuk Sumn (Featuring Playboi Carti and Travis Scott), Carnival (Featuring Rich the Kid and Playboi Carti) and numerous other tracks. It is hard to rank them because the quality on this album is consistently very high. The production, as for many Kanye albums, if phenomenal. Production from Kanye, JPEGMAFIA, Mike Dean, and many others makes this album a dream to listen to. Overall features on the album are great. Playboi Carti has one of his best verses in his career on Carnival, Freddie Gibbs has an insane verse on Back to Me, and numerous other artists have phenomenal verses that add to the album listening experience. As for my overall thoughts: The album is clearly not perfect or doesn't revive the "Old Kanye," but it serves as a fantastic listen and converges many of Kanye's past sounds on to one, curated listen. Also, Ty Dolla $ign has glorious performances along Kanye and $ign should not be seen as a "Sidekick" to Kanye. This is one of Kanye's best releases in recent memory, and although it does not reach the heights of The College Dropout or Late Registration, it stands as a solid addition to Ye's Catalogue. Using the NFR scale that goes Bad, Mid, Good, Great, Amazing, and Perfect: VULTURES 1 gets an AMAZING RATING
